On Saturday 21st October, we welcome industry professional of 40 years, Matthew Bearne to our school where he will conduct a 3 hour screen acting masterclass.  ​ Matthew Bearne brings 40 years of industry experience. He started out at 14 as a comedian (to get his Equity card), trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, securing IMDB credits for Film, TV, and Voice over.  In his career, he has been flown all over the world to star in commercials for the world's biggest brands.   10 years ago, he set up a Film School because his daughter wanted to do something on a Saturday. It's now award winning. He directs at least three short films a week, as he also runs one of the country's leading showreel companies. A reel he did for a young actor, helped them secure a pivotal role in 'Barbie'. "I feel very fortunate, with my experience of the entertainment industry. From that little lad in the school play to standing on a set as an actor, at either Pinewood, Leavesdon, or Shepperton and to work in an industry with all its sense of history and the greats that have stood there before you.. to pass on what I've learnt and experienced.. well, it's a privilege."
