Due to high demand and with the first masterclass on Saturday 12th October selling out in a matter of hours, we have secured a second masterclass date with well-renowned director Phil Hawkins and professional actress Jessica Blake ! The focus of the session will be a professional insight into acting for film and television, learning all the techniques and skills necessary to thrive in front of the camera. Children will also develop a real knowledge of professional auditions and Spotlight - the largest casting resource in the UK and used by thousands of production companies, agencies and casting directors. Phil is a commercial, television and independent film director from Manchester, United Kingdom. His work in feature film includes Prancer: A Christmas Tale (2022) and Robin And The Hoods (2024). He is also known for appearing in the Fox/DreamWorks reality television show On The Lot produced by Steven Spielberg. Jessica is an experienced actor of film, television and voice. After her debut in a feature film Philip Pullman adaptation, her career has featured work in indie films, commercials and radio drama for the BBC. She has just completed shooting on the feature film Robin And The Hoods (Sky) and can be seen in the role of Sally in Prancer: A Christmas Tale (Universal/Sky), alongside James Cromwell. She regularly works alongside Phil. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with current industry professionals who know the business and how it all works!
